Linzen was later awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy by the university in recognition of his contributions to academia and public life in Israel.

Adv. Linzen has held visiting professorships at Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He served on the Executive Board of Tel Aviv University for nearly ten years and continues to serve on its Board of Trustees. He also chairs the Board of Trustees of the university’s Faculty of Law.
A senior figure in the Israel Bar Association, Linzen chairs both its International Relations and Tax Committees and represents the Association on various public and governmental bodies.

Born to Polish Holocaust survivors, Linzen’s personal history informs his deep commitment to justice and human rights.
