Member of IJL Board of Governors

Calev Myers immigrated to Israel from the USA, served in the IDF Medical Corps, studied law at Hebrew University and has practiced law in Israel for 16 years. Today, he is a Senior Partner and the Manager of the Jerusalem City Center Branch at Yehuda Raveh & Co. Law Offices, which was founded in 1940 by Mr. Gideon Hausner, who served as Attorney General and Cabinet Minister and was one of the founders of the IJL. Calev is the founder of the Jerusalem Institute of Justice, which advocates for the civil rights of marginalized communities, and ARISE (Alliance to Reinforce Israel’s Security and Economy) which advances economic development and security for the people of Israel. Calev has served on the Board of Trustees of the IJL for several years, has represented the IJL before the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva and has litigated before the International Criminal Court at The Hague against Ismail Haniyeh, the Supreme Leader of Hamas, for war crimes against Palestinians in Gaza. He is lives in the Judean Hills with his wife, Sheli, and five amazing children.
