Dr. Aleksandra Gliszczyńska-Grabias – Assistant Professor at the Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences and member of the Board of Governors of the IJL – offers her perspective on the recent antisemitic wave and the situation in Poland in particular.
One of the examples Dr. Gliszczyńska-Grabias discusses is the Marie Andersen case and the actions taken by the IJL in this context – a formal notification to the Polish Prosecutor Office in Warsaw, requesting the opening of an investigation into the possible commission of crimes by Andersen; and a letter to the Rector of the Medical University of Warsaw calling to expel Andersen for her antisemitic behavior.
