EXECUTIVE RESOLUTION

The Executive Committee decided to postpone the final date for paying annual membership fees as a pre-condition for standing for elections for the Board of Governors.

 

Elections to the Presidency, Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists will Take Place (on-line) on December 6, 2020.

 

The right to vote and stand for election is subject to paying membership dues ($100 US) for 2020 before September 1, 2020 (see Article 11 of  our By-Laws);

Due to the Covid-19 effect the aforementioned date was pushed to September 22 (including);

In accordance, the new time table will be as follows:

      1. Final date for paying annual fees – September 22;
      2. Elections Committee’s first meeting – September 30 (pushed from September 6);
      3. Submission of application – October 22. Candidates must submit a letter of application to the Elections Committee at: office@ijl.org on October 22, 2020 plus a short CV and 50 signatures of members of the association who support the candidate (pushed from October 7). Note that our office team will provide you with relevant guidelines;
      4. Publishing the list of candidates standing for elections on November 6, 2020 (remains the same) after Election Committee’s approval (=second meeting).
